Nimbus Brewery

by sarah on January 16, 2010

For the last few days I have been in Tucson visiting my family. Last night my Dad took me out for some father daughter time at the local micro-brewery, Nimbus.  I love it! The food was delicious and well-priced, the atmosphere was really cosy (I was really impressed with how full the place was on a Thursday), and most importantly the beer was amazing. I ordered what is called a sampler, which is eight tiny beer glass filled with all their different types of beer that they brew. There was a blonde beer, a pale ale, a vanilla beer, an oatmeal stout, monkey shine, a seasonal beer, red ale, and a brown ale.  They were all good, although I have to say my absolute favorite was the monkeyshine. It is a dark beer, with a hint of sweetness in the taste.  The photo above is of the sampler, sorry for the low quality, its a cell phone pic :)
