Cooking Fun

Hello! Recently Alan and I have been trying to cook more both in an effort to have some fun, improve my cooking skills (Alan is already quiet talented) and to save some money. We had both received cookbooks for Christmas from various family members and decided it was time to crack them open and utilize them.

This week we made a 40-clove garlic chicken, noodles with a white clam sauce, and home-made mac and cheese. The first two were absolutely delicious I would venture to brag that they had restaurant quality flavor, while the home-made mac lacked a little something, perhaps a bit bland? Overall the cooking was fun and a great way to bond. I cant wait to tackle some more recipes! Anyone have any great ones to share?
