Intro to new Fashion Column

The last few weeks I have been wondering what makes someone fashionable. Going to Arizona State University, one of the biggest universities in the country, I am surrounded by multitudes of people everyday. I love to people watch, everyday I observe women in my class, walking around campus, and sitting a Starbucks. I’ve noticed that at times there can be two girls both in jeans, a graphic tee, and sandals. However, one girl look put together and fashionable, and the other girl looks like see has thrown random clothes on. What gives some people the ability to look amazing in jeans and converse, while others just look like they didn’t care?
You all know what I mean, this phenomena doesn’t just happen on campus, just look around your local supermarket.
I hypothesize that these women who look good,have a few constant traits.I want to make a weekly Friday column dedicated to analyzing this phenomena and to figuring out these traits. Could it be one has make-up or their hair-styled while the other one doesn’t, or does it have something to do with personality, or perhaps a combination of both? I will endeavor to find the answer, and hopefully improve my own style at the same time.
