Arizona Politics: Vote Yes on Proposition 100

by sarah on April 13, 2010

I am currently doing an internship with the Arizona Students Association. ASA is a nonprofit and nonpartisan organization that advocates on student issues such as tuition, voter access, things of that nature. We are currently working on getting people to vote yes on proposition 100. This is a proposition that would raise the AZ sales tax by 1cent. This revenue which as already been factored into the AZ budget, would go towards education, human services, and public safety.

My friend Lauren D. and I are both the media coordinators for Tempe, AZ and we spent all last week working on a video to inform people about Prop 100. I thought I would post it here and you all could take a look. Enjoy and remember if you are from Arizona vote yes on Prop 100.

I’m so proud of your video! I know it took you forever to create and I’m so impressed by how professional and cool it looks. Nice job on the wording and song choice, and I think you make a persuasive case for Prop 100. Good luck with the vote!
