Adventure of a Lifetime—or hiking the Havasupai Falls

Over Memorial Day weekend Alan and I hiked down the Grand Canyon with a couple of friends. Our destination? The Havasu Falls. The adventure started sometime in November when our friend David mentioned that he would be hiking down to the falls with his friend Kevin. He asked us if we would like to join them. We immediately jumped on the chance and spent the months leading up to the trip preparing. We hiked, we bought gear, and we began to get excited for our adventure.
