I must admit that I am not a fan of Valentines Day, I think it is a retail holiday generated to make people spend money. If you love someone you should show them everyday, not just save it up for once a year with cheesy gestures of romance. However that being said, I did find these adorable , non-cheesy cards on Urban Outfitters that I just had to share!

Cute Outfit from Mod Cloth
This morning I was browsing through Modcloth.com admiring all of the beautiful stuff they have, when I was inspired to make an outfit with items from their store. I was going for a fun day out either with the girls or with the boyfriend. This is what I came up with, what do you think?
First a casual brown dress,
Next the shoes, some beautiful, yet comfy boots
and finally the accessories, a fun necklace and an eye-catching ring

Dream Patio
It has started to warm up very nicely out here in Phoenix, in fact yesterday was so warm that Alan and I went to a local Irish pub and sat outside to enjoy some pints of Guinness and Harps. All this warm weather is making me wish that I had some patio furniture to sit on and enjoy the weather. Here are some things that would be lovely on a small patio or balcony.
First off, a cute bright blue bistro set
Then add some lanterns and candles
And finally add some potted plants especially herbs such as Lavender, Basil, and Peppermint

True Blood Song
I love the HBO True Blood. Its what every good vampire show should be, great story, beautiful and talented cast, and of course lots of sex. It is torture to have to wait until June for the third season. Besides the storyline of the show, I also love the opening song, its so catchy! In fact more often then naught I find myself singing bits of it. The song is by Jace Everett and called Bad Things. Here is the music video for you!

Clocks Galore
This weekend Alan and I made a trip to IKEA. I love wandering through all of their display rooms, it gets me really excited and thinking about new ideas for my apartment. For some reason since this IKEA trip, I have had the idea of clocks, as a home deco piece running through my mind. They can be subtle or make a statement. Plus, its important to me to be on time, I hate to be late, so logically there would come a point where I would be enamored by clocks. So I have gone on an epic Internet hunt to find some cool timekeepers, here are some of my favorites.
I think that this clock would be so much fun to have hanging in a kitchen. It would be a great conversation starter.
A classic, yet oversized clock from Target
very very cool and unqie clock from AtlasSigns on etsy
This is my favorite clock out of the four. I love its modern, yet fun look!

Perfume
A couple months ago I came across a web store called I hate perfume via A Cup of Jo. While the name is a little off putting at first, it is actually a perfume shop with some very unconventional perfume! The scents of the perfumes and their descriptions are so magical! I would love to own some of these one day! Here are a few of my favorites.
Winter 1972- A field of untouched new fallen snow, hand knit woolen mittens covered with frost, a hint of frozen forest & sleeping earth
JUST BREATHE is blended with Bamboo Leaves, Japanese Green Tea, three varieties of Cedarwood, forest and just the merest hint of Incense.
Revelation captures the scent of a Wild Fig Tree. The prime note is that of Fig Leaves & Twigs blended with Honey and a touch of Spice. The perfume is based on a rich warm blend of Cedarwood, Cypress Wood, Amber & Labdanum.
Revelation begins with a crisp green scent that gently warms on the skin to be sensual and glowing
